Langkawi 2010 - Day 2

Rise and shine around 8am and set off to a simple pier around Cenang beach.

Really sunny even in the morning.

They call this the pregnant maiden. From Wiki: The hilly landscape on one side of the lake indeed resembles the shape of a pregnant maiden lying on her back. However, the name of both the island and lake, the Pregnant Maiden, is attributed to the legend of a lovely fairy princess who blessed the lake's waters so that any childless woman who bathed in the lake would conceive thereafter.

Stopping by Pulau Dayang Bunting

Resembles the fish spa we have in Singapore and a nature version? Gave it a go and I don't think the fishes really remove any dead skin but it was quite interesting (a bit scary at first) to have ugly looking fishes coming up to check your feet out.

They call it a miracle to have a fresh water lake near the sea... Hmm..... But it's a enclosed area with hills and trees... Isn't it normal to have a fresh water lake?

Went on solar powered paddle boats. PS: Forward speed was really slow........ Must as well peddle manually.

Great view nevertheless.

Best experience for the entire island hopping trip was definitely eagle feeding but it was a short stay and just miserable amount of bread spread on the water. Didn't manage to get any proper pictures. *Pouts*

They then brought us to an island that they call private island... *Coughs.... BS!* Was just an island with some sea activities, nothing much besides one miserable looking drink vendor and lotsa monkeys.

Shared my coke.

Happily munching peanuts.

The boat we were in. The driver should register himself as a F1 boat racer (if there's something like that...)

Quick bite. Traditional, cheap and yummy.

Off to Eagle square for some snapshots.

Then we went off to Langkawi Fair Mall and another newer mall for some shopping. Skipped sunset at Tanjong Rhu.

Off to dinner at Han Kook Kwan located IN Aquabeat. I got confused with the address and alighted at Langkasuka Resort. Walked a fair distance on poor lit road to reach the restaurant.

Food was pretty good with awesome service and hosts. Spent around RM80 for dinner. And yes, the Korean superstar Rain patronized the restaurant before.
