How to Remove Ringtone From iPhone

After spending a few hours figuring out how to remove ringtones created from Ringtones 2.89 app, I thought it will be nice to share what I did on my blog.

Equipment: iPhone 3GS Version 3.1.2 (7D11)
Jailbreak: blackra1n
Drag & drop program: iPhone Explorer

You will need to jailbreak your phone to enable the Real iPhone Root Directory. However if you jailbreak your phone using blackra1n, you will not be able to access the real root directory immediately.

You will need to:-
Download and install "afc2add" from Cydia. This will then resolve the issue.

In iPhone Explorer, update your root directory to "Real iPhone Root Directory"

Navigate to Library -> Ringtones and you can add, delete, edit any ringtones.
